# DefinedXP

Defined now offers an innovative rewards system where traders earn XP and level up by trading and achieving certain milestones to unlock exclusive benefits such as revenue sharing.

* **How do I earn XP?**
  * **Trading Activity:** Earn XP by trading on[ Defined.fi](https://www.defined.fi/tokens/discover). We monitor several metrics such as Profit & Loss (PnL), trading volume, total trades, and more.
  * **Complete Quests:** Gain extra XP for achievements such as:
    * Earning specific profit targets.
    * Trading on multiple networks.
    * High trading volumes or reaching specific volume milestones, and more!
  * XP begins accumulating as of Dec 13th 2024 at 19:00 UTC
* **How is XP distributed?**
  * We conduct Daily Drops of XP every 24 hours and distribute based on total trading activity across all users.
* **How do I move up the Leaderboard?**
  * Complete Quests and achieve trading milestones.
  * Maintain a positive PnL and try to improve your gains.
  * Stay active and keep trading! We also monitor volume, number of trades, and other metrics. The top PnL trader won't necessarily be in first!
  * User stats are updated ***every 5 minutes*** (update interval may vary).
* **What do I earn for levelling up?**
  * [Revenue-sharing](/defined-docs/defined-classic/definedxp/revenue-sharing.md) opportunities unlocked at higher levels.
  * Early or exclusive access to new features.
  * Stay tuned for more benefits to be revealed!
* **What about users with small portfolios?**
  * All traders, regardless of trading volume, can participate and have the potential to level up and earn rewards over time.
* **Does my XP and level ever reset?**
  * Yes. We will have "Seasons" that run for a set period of time for earning XP and levelling up.
  * As the DefinedXP program progresses, earned badges will eventually expire. Don’t worry, we’ll give you plenty of notice. You’ll hold onto your earned badges (such as [revenue sharing](/defined-docs/defined-classic/definedxp/revenue-sharing.md)) for a significant period, ensuring you reap the rewards of your achievements.
