# Holders Summary

Selecting the "Holders" section of the transaction table allows you to get an at-a-glance view of all holders of a particular token, their % of supply held, amount, and total value (USD).

Viewing top holders is a useful way of checking the total distribution of a token (how much supply is held and by how many wallets) so you can make an informed decision when trading.

Interested in when a particular holder bought or sold? Copy their address and filter the "Maker" column on the "Txns" panel with their address. All of the holder's buys and sells will show in the transaction column and on the chart.

Additionally, you can track any of the holders' wallets by selecting the "Track Wallet" icon<img src="/files/QtbpOnhkPyvaagbtBi4j" alt="" data-size="line">next to the wallet address to receive notifications in Telegram when they buy/sell any tokens.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.defined.fi/defined-docs/defined-classic/defined-features/holders-summary.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
